New Year, New Challenges! 

Hi Adventure Racer!!!

We hope your year is off for a flying start! AJ team spent couple of weeks in the High Country with lots of adventures: mountain and road biking, hiking and running, paddling, occasional wine drinking and 2015 planning! 

 

Here what we have prepared for you:


 

Ladies only event is back in 2015 due to popular demand 
After successful 2014 edition we are putting this race on again. Event is designed for novices but it is still fun for those who have got some experience under their belt. Basic navigation, accessible distance, friendly atmosphere and great time are guaranteed. 
If you have ever thought about introducing your friend to adventure races here is the absolutely best event for it. 
Want to race with your daughter? Do not go any further, register right now, this is the best event for it! 
Basic information: 
What: classic adventure race, under 2,5 hour course;
Who: teams of two ladies, minimum age is 10;
Where: Lylidale lake park
When: 14th of March, start at 10 AM
How to enter: registration is on-line, no registration on the day.

Sprint Series Adventure Race, Lysterfield, 26th of April! 
Classic Sprint Series Race is back in 2015.
Mountain biking on famous Lysterfield trails, kayaking in the beautiful Lysterfield lake spiced up with foot orienteering. 
 
Do not miss out the only one Melbourne Race this year. 
 
What: classic adventure race, under 4 hour course;
Who: teams of two, minimum age is 12;
Where: Lysterfield lake park, Hallam North rd entrance
When: 26th of April, start at 9 AM
How to enter: registration is on-line, no entry on the day. 
Be quick early bird entries would not last long! 

 

Winter Challenge will be cool as never before
This time we're moving to Grampians, so book some leave, take all your family down and enjoy this magnificent place. 
 
The race will have a different format this year: 2 days stage event, 8 hour and 4 hour courses over Saturday and Sunday with early registration on Friday night. 
 
Teams of four with three categories: Mixed, Female and Male teams. Cash prizes are for Mixed category.

More racing and training
Scout Adventure Racing is based on the popular sport of orienteering and provides walking, running and navigational training to Scouts, their parents and any other members of the public that want to come along and join in. Every Tuesday night in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne - during the daylight savings period (October to March).

Rogaining season is coming up shortly, 2015 calendar is up.
