Whether you're taking on the 24-hour FULL Course or the 12-hour HALF Course, the X-Marathon offers an epic adventure that will test your limits and immerse you in stunning natural terrain.

In 2026, the FULL Course proudly hosts the ARWS Oceania Championship, bringing together top teams and passionate adventurers for a truly world-class challenge.

Gather your team, embrace the journey, and be part of one of Australia’s longest-running and most respected adventure races.

 

 

FULL COURSE – 24 Hours

Date: 5–6 September 2026
Location: Central Coast, NSW
Duration: 24 hours
Team Size: 2-person or 4-person teams
Entry: From $300 per person

Designed for teams with some adventure racing experience, the Full Course delivers a classic 24-hour navigation-based challenge. Paddle, bike, run/walk, and navigate through diverse terrain while chasing checkpoints across a well-designed course suitable for a wide range of experienced teams.

Cost:

  • Super Early Bird: from $300 pp ($1199 team of 4, $649 team of 2)
  • Early Bird: from $350 pp ($1399 team of 4, $749 team of 2)
  • Standard: from $400 pp ($1599 team of 4, $849 team of 2)
  • Late: from $450 pp ($1799 team of 4, $949 team of 2)

 

 

HALF COURSE – 12 Hours

Date: 30 August 2024 (Saturday)
Location: Central Coast, NSW
Duration: 12 hours
Team Size: 2-person or 4-person teams
Entry: From $200 per person

Perfect for newer or less experienced teams, the Half Course delivers the same spirit of adventure in a more accessible 12-hour format. Navigate, ride, paddle, and trek across a rewarding and achievable course suitable for all fitness levels—with mountain bike hire available.

Cost:

  • Super Early Bird: from $200 pp ($799 team of 4, $449 team of 2)
  • Early Bird: from $250 pp ($999 team of 4, $549 team of 2)
  • Standard: from $300 pp ($1199 team of 4, $649 team of 2)
  • Late: from $350 pp ($1399 team of 4, $749 team of 2)
