 What

Wild Traverse is a self-supported, two-day navigation-based trekking race for teams of two (male, female and mixed categories), with an overnight stop.

The idea of the race derived from Russian 'March-brosok' and British Original Mountain Marathon.

We setting this course as close as possible to the city trying to make it more accessible, however we keeping the nature of event - course is demanding and challenging for everyone.

Race designed for ultra runners, rogainers, orienteerers, adventure racers and bushwalkers. Navigation level of compulsory checkpoints is easy getting harder for optional CPs.

Stage one: Teams navigate their way from the start to mid-camp, visiting a number of checkpoints along the way. At mid-camp, teams will camp overnight before starting stage two. Approximate distance through all checkpoints for stage one is about 15 km through the mandatory CPs up to 35 kilometres though the all optional CPs.

Stage two: Teams will navigate their way from mid-camp to the finish (the same place as the start), again visiting a number of checkpoints. Approximate distance through all checkpoints for stage two is 32 kilometers, 15 km along the shortest route.
