Women Only Adventure Race is done and dusted for 2018
One of the best ever?
Women Only Adventure 2018 done and dusted and wasn't it great?
Despite the forecast it turned to be a great day of racing with mild temperature and one or two showers to settle the dust. Wind added up a bit of a challenge to a paddle leg and a lot to organising part- we were struggling to put all race bags together and start/finish arch upright.
Thank you for bringing your smiles and incredible attitude to the race and being a part of this amazing event. Now it is a recovery time - easy stretching, plenty of fluids and antioxidants, some spa time of course- you deserved it.
Second time in 5 year history of Women Only Adventure Race it was taken out by Deanna Blegg with a different team mate this time- Dianne Anver, who did her very first ever adventure race. Close second just 1,5 minutes behind was TRG chicks - Bern Dornom and Sharon Hanna. Bronze podium went to Sister's with blisters - Elise Pritchard and Jade Riley.
The family category winners were Leon's Angels -Victoria and Anya Gelbak.
