X-Marathon expedition race 2021 Nargun and the Lakes edition
X-Marathon is an expedition adventure race that will change your life!
Each team is comprised of four competitors which will be racing against the clock through the East Gippsland’s most remote backcountry terrain exploring the Victorian largest free flowing river, the biggest inland lakes system, untouched rainforests and mystical legends.
The course is determined by control points and you will navigate your way using only a map and compass. The course consists of trekking, mountain biking and paddling sections.
All teams are supported by race organisers and volunteers who are bringing your pre-packed gear at key points along the course.
Only teams that can work together under extreme stress and fatigue, showing a high level of expedition problem-solving skills will have any chance of success.
Although the first team to cross the finish line will be the winner, any team that completes the entire course will have truly achieved the exceptional.
